DIY Paper Flower Cones

If you're anything like me, you've started your Monday with all manner of promises to yourself for the week. For me that means healthy eating, packing my son's lunches the night before school, instead of the morning of, which invariably leads to us running late. There are sometimes promises of mid-week facials and redoing my shellac nails before they start to flake, instead of two days after they do and I've already had myself a peeling party. There are keeping tidy promises, more exercise promises, (blog posts out on time promises…), and all of them I try my best to complete each and every week.

Some, however, end up being pushed forward to the following week. Things that I give myself the impression can wait. Even if my anxiety levels rise a little more as each Sunday rolls around and the usual put off task is going back on the list.

So yeah, I know how it's done. Brides, you cannot run. You cannot hide from me. I've got your number, and I know exactly what you're putting off. Your fun DIY project for your Sunshine Coast wedding that you haven't quite gotten around to choosing the materials for or actually figuring out how to do it yet. I say this with love – just darned well do it this week!

With all my tough love here comes a little gift for you to enjoy. Well it's not actually my gift to give, it comes from another, who is much more clever than I. Oh Happy Day! has once again saved the day with this fabulous DIY. You can create your own paper flower cones, in any which colour scheme you like, to suit your wedding day styling, or perhaps your bridal shower celebrations?
