On my travels I recently came across these gorgeous blackboard hearts from Maleny homewares haven, Giddy & Grace. Priced from only $2.50 each these would make perfect favours that could also double up as your place seating as well.
Placed on a contemporary white plate with a napkin they could fit a more modern setting, or to channel that old school vintage charm you could position them with your nanna's vintage crockery.
I love the jute twine they come with, but if the twine doesn't quite gel with what you are after, just swap it for one that coordinates more with your colour or theme for your day.
