We were out on a super busy day yesterday with a gah-gah gorgeous styled shoot for our upcoming magazine edition, due out at the end of this month. It’s full of sparkles and glitter and all things gorgeous. A bunch of our A-list Vendors are responsible for creating this magical wedding inspiration, which makes…

Spotlight on a Supplier: Suzanne Riley

7th October 2014

Meet Suzanne Riley, a vivacious Sunshine Coast celebrant you just gotta love. I put my spotlight on Suzanne and asked her all about her life, her loves and why hers is a dream job.  Suzanne, here on the Sunshine Coast, where is your happy place?  My happiest place is anywhere I am dancing! I love to latin dance and enjoy Salsa, Zouk Lambada, Tango and Bachata styles.  I dance every week and have an amazing group of friends and community through dancing. I also love time with my girls. I have two daughters, Isabel and Priscila, and also a Mexican exchange student,…

Bridal Fashion: Limor Rosen Collection

6th October 2014

The designs of Israeli designer, Limor Rosen, do nothing short of mystify. When these delectable dresses arrived in my inbox, I swear I had a physical reaction. Goosebumps. Everywhere. To say they are to die for is an understatement.  Limor Rosen comes from a long line of designers and dressmakers. Her grandmother and great grandmother imigrated from Argentina and set up the Miriam School of Dressmaking in Tel Aviv. Fashion was a natural choice for Limor, and it saw her continue her training in Europe, where she learned about making art of garment design.  I think it’s easy to align…

5 Ways to Pretty Up Your Blog

25th September 2014

If you have a blog for your business, you want people to see it and read it. Not go to the effort of clicking on a link, only to want to retreat back to the visual comfort of well-tread territory, like Facebook.  Just like books, magazines, or any other kind of media, there is a certain way people read blogs. But unlike books and magazines, you have only a small moment to capture your readers’ attention, so you don’t want to blow it.  Think about how you navigate the interwebs – ever clicked on a link, only to find…

Monique met Deb from Boots Photography at a friend’s wedding, and so of course booked her for her own. If you met Deb, you would do the same, trust us on that. So pre-wedding, Monique and her husband-to-be, Tom, got together with the lovely Deb for an engagement shoot, which is beautiful beyond words. Just take a look… they are so, what’s the word? Wow.  Bouquet from Tegan Swanborough at Blossom & Twine

Wedding Film: Robyn & Andy Lee in Maleny

23rd September 2014

Robyn & Andy Lee from bxcsmxth on Vimeo. The beautiful people in this wedding will have you smiling from ear to ear, just like them! Robyn and Andy Lee are clearly having the time of their lives on their wedding day at Maleny Manor. From shedding a tear reading each others’ letters in the morning to a heartfelt ceremony with a few laughs (of course guaranteed when your celebrant is Bill Scurry!), all the way to dancing and silliness at the reception… Bec from Bxcsmth has captured it all, which I personally think is wonderful, because without this film we…

Real Wedding: Karamea & Chris in Noosa

22nd September 2014

Perth couple, Karamea and Chris, brought a contingent of 70 guests with them to celebrate their nuptials in Karamea’s hometown of Noosa by the beach. Karamea’s grandmother and best friend were also precious cargo, travelling from New Zealand to be with the happy couple on their Noosa wedding day.  Planning a destination wedding, Karamea says her best decision was to hire a wedding planner from First Class Functions to both help arrange everything pre-wedding, and also coordinate a smooth sailing event on the day.  Their classic beach styled wedding with soft apricot colour theme was captured by photographer, Katja Anton AKA Weddings.  “Chris…
