Bohemian Beach Wedding Reception

13th May 2012

When we put together our first edition of The Bride's Tree free online bridal magazine, we were absolutely floored when we saw all of the amazing photos Sunshine Coast wedding photographer, Shane Shepherd, produced from our Bohemian Beach Wedding styled shoot. It was a real pain, actually, and resulted in much heartache. Quite inconsiderate of him, really. I mean, did he not foresee us agonising over which would make the pages of the magazine?! We absolutely would have doubled the size of the magazine if we could have in order to fit in all the images, but instead we breathed a…

11th May 2012

Doesn't this look like a fun bunch? What a fabulous moment to capture! This bridal party are quite clearly having the time of their lives, and Karen Buckle, awesome Sunshine Coast wedding photographer, was right amongst all the action.  What do we love about this picture? Mostly the joyous moment in time that will never happen again, but will forever be remembered now. Also, the lush green with the pop of pink colour in the bridesmaids' dresses, and the spectacular chandelier. Who doesn't love a chandelier hanging in a tree at a wedding? Simply divine!

It is a very popular wedding trend of the moment, not to mention thoughtful and practical. Signage at your wedding ceremony and reception will both help your guests to navigate their way about the joint and look drop dead cute and gorgeous, adding a sweet touch to your Sunshine Coast wedding styling. You can have all sorts of signage at your wedding. You can use a few rustic street-sign-style arrows in pine and white to direct your guests this way and that or provide your program on a sign, rather than print individual ones (save a tree!) You can display the…

City of Love Engagement Shoot

7th May 2012

Who remembers our cute-as-a-button Paris proposal pair, Rachael and Brent? We shared their story a few months ago, and since then they have been busily planning their wedding. This Sunshine Coast couple are living in Brisbane and recently had an engagement photo shoot with Focus Films Photography and Video. It is very on trend to include props in your engagement shoot, and of course this couple who connect on a very personal level with the City of Love, simply had to include a few subtle Parisian touches. We really love how they are stylishly, but simply, dressed, allowing their obvious…
