She rode into his life and he loved her

7th December 2014

When it rained on Lauren and Derek’s Woodford wedding day, it became clear to one wedding goer that a do-over was in store. That goer, and frankly go-getter, was Deb from Boots Photography. Getting dreamy, romantic shots of this beautiful couple with sunshine and their beloved horse was an absolute necessity as far as Deb was concerned. And so, a bridal session post-wedding was concepted. Lauren and Derek donned their wedding attire once more. Their Ma and Pa’s private Sunshine Coast hinterland farm was the location for the shoot, and included delightful elements of a floral wreath hairpiece, and vintage…

Engaged: Tom and Monique in the Country

24th September 2014

Monique met Deb from Boots Photography at a friend’s wedding, and so of course booked her for her own. If you met Deb, you would do the same, trust us on that. So pre-wedding, Monique and her husband-to-be, Tom, got together with the lovely Deb for an engagement shoot, which is beautiful beyond words. Just take a look… they are so, what’s the word? What a Darling Affair!

27th August 2013

Recently we attended A Darling Affair‘s wedding fair at The Woombye Chapel. It was a gorgeous sunny day on the Sunshine Coast, which, just quietly, we are quite accustomed to in these parts of late. It was yet another spectacular winter’s day, and brides and grooms from all over took a lovely Sunday drive to be with us at the cutest location, perfect for the vintage and handmade affair.  Many thanks to the lovely Deb from Boots Photography, who took these beautiful photos for us at the fair to share with you all a little bit of loveliness from the…

Photo of the Week

28th June 2013

I’d say our photo of the week is pretty as a picture, but it’s actually prettier than that. I’m sure you’ll all agree, this photo is like life itself. It jumps off the page, well, off the screen. You feel like you could just reach out and touch it, and be in this intimate moment between a new husband and wife.  We have the talents of the lovely Deb from Boots Photography to thank for this gorgeous work. Thanks Deb, and Happy Saturday, lovely Sunshine Coast brides!

Photo of the Week

29th June 2012

And boy, does this bride shine in her tulle skirt of her wedding dress! Love it! To me, this photo is a real celebration. The groom is ecstatic with his beautiful bride, the bride herself is blissfully satisfied and at peace with her new…
