Sophie + Scott’s Twin Waters Wedding

Sophie and Scott had the Rolls Royce of wedding vendor teams to whip their wedding into one super pretty package at waterfront venue, Novotel Twin Waters Resort. The couple were wed by celebrant, Suzanne Riley, on the pandanus lawn overlooking the lake, and backed it up with a reception celebration at Lily’s on the Lagoon overwater restaurant.

The groom’s quirky personality was infused into the wedding in a few very subtle ways that not many would have picked up on, because he spent most of the day behaving as his mild-mannered alter ego so as not to cause a stir. 

An outstanding effort from Willow Bud on this crazy beautiful bouquet, not to mention all of the other stunning arrangements that complemented the colour palette of the day. 

The bride supplied her own earth angel. 

Sophie stayed true to her personal style by wearing her impressive long locks straight, and wearing a strapless gown so all could behold her beautifully artistic tattoos. Each bridesmaid also kept to her personal style, wearing her flowing white dress her own way, as well as her own variation on a relaxed low set up style,   fashioned into downright loveliness by Sass & Niki’s Wedding Hair. 

Willow Bud, you’re killing me with these flowers! 

North Shore beach is such a lovely place to frolic for bridal party photos. It’s a quiet area, so it can really allow you to feel like you’re in your own little world. 

Novotel Twin Waters Resort offers so many pretty spots to behold. And use for photos ops, obviously. Lily’s on the Lagoon overwater restaurant makes a lovely backdrop across the water. 

 

Glamorous, fun and absolutely flawless, Sophie’s makeup was expertly applied by one of the Sunshine Coast topmost sought after makeup artists, Natalie Hunter.
