Set on the banks of the Noosa River, a wedding reception at the Noosa Waterfront Restaurant and Bar is an occasion to remember always for its wonderful location, food, wines, service and warm atmosphere. There are many lovely spots nearby to hold your ceremony. Our favourite is under the boughs of the Moreton Bay Fig Trees.
Ricky’s River Bar & Restaurant
If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard a Sunshine Coast local name Ricky’s as their favourite restaurant, well I’d have enough to pay for a three course meal, the wines to match and the cab ride home. I can assure you I’d thoroughly enjoy the fresh local produce and fine dining experience. This one is most definitely for the foodies among us.
The Lakehouse – Sunshine Coast
Centrally located and purpose-built, The Lakehouse operates as a wedding venue exclusively with its own wedding coordinators carrying out perfect wedding days every week year round. Menu and dining style options range from family sharing platters to roving degustation. The courtyard on site is a lovely spot to hold a ceremony overlooking the lake, or if you prefer there are beach and chapel options mere minutes either side.
The Surf Club Sunshine Beach
This venue is much more than just a surf club. It is proud owner of million dollar panoramic views from the restaurant deck with plenty of space for all your guests to celebrate, and best of all it is known for its affordability. Ceremonies can be held on the sands below beside the shore, or on The Surf Club lawn overlooking the beach.
Noosa Boathouse
There’s no need to drive to your wedding in a mere primitive automobile when instead both you and your guests can arrive via boat! Noosa Boathouse is located on the Noosa Marina, and can accommodate large groups of up to 120 guests for a sit down dinner, or up to 200 for a cocktail-style reception.
