If you’re looking for an ultimately chic way to celebrate your Sunshine Coast wedding, having a rooftop soiree would most definitely fit the bill. A rooftop wedding reception atBeach Club Resort Mooloolaba brings new heights to wedding celebrations – in more ways than one!
While you could design a classically elegant soiree on the rooftop in Mooloolaba, which lends itself to any theme with sleek lines, decking and astro turf, for our Summer magazine shoot we decided to throw a seriously fun and colourful soiree into the space. Palm Springs was the perfect theme for a Summer wedding on the rooftop with pastels and brights coming together in perfect harmony.

Catering for our rooftop wedding reception was handled by Capelli Foods, who design menus with you personally when you book them for your wedding.
Above we have… Chargrilled Lamb Loin, Potato Dauphinoise, Asparagus and Danish Feta, Capelli Red Wine Jus
Local Organic Bendele Farm Duck Breast, Potato Galette, Spicy Slaw Salad, Pomegranates, Pistachios, Orange Segments and shaved Jamon

Here’s where the fun part comes in… balloon sculpture and donut wall! Made to Match Events constructed the balloon feature made with round balloons and accented with ferns in keeping with our Palm Springs theme. Chocolate 2 Chilli decorated the delicious (yes, we tried them!) donuts transforming this modest dessert into a work of art and culinary delight.
