Believe it or not, beachside Mooloolaba is harbouring a cheeky little secret. It’s a great secret though, and one I’m more than happy to share with you. I’ve never been very good with secrets anyway.
Are you ready for this? There is a waterfall right in the heart of Mooloolaba, tucked away in a perfect little oasis. The Bride’s Tree team took a test drive of The Waterfall Day Spa 3-hour Hen’s Party Package, and let me tell you it was kind of completely awesome.
I’m going to take you through the whole experience Jenny and I (Sally) experienced, but first let me tell you about…
The Packages
The Waterfall Day Spa offers two packages designed specifically for groups celebrating a Hen’s Party. Jenny and I were spoiled beyond belief with a 3-hour package called “Beautifully Rejuvenated“, during which we had a pedicure, massage and wrap, and a spa facial, followed up with a high tea by the waterfall. There is also a one-hour Bridal Pamper Package on offer at the spa.
Bridal Parties can be booked for up to 16 people, and while your friends have their treatments you’re able to relax in the Waterfall courtyard, sipping on something bubbly or take advantage of The Landmark Resort pool facilities, which you will have full access to.

Barefoot Botanical Pedicure
We kicked things off (pun intended) with a Barefoot Botanical Pedicure as we sipped tea from the most adorable of tea sets. This set the tone for our day of pampering, and it sure didn’t take long to relax with the sweet sound of the waterfall right next to us in the inside-outside spa treatment room. 
Fusion Stone Massage
I’d never had a hot stone before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. To be honest, I didn’t really understand what the stones were actually for, but my therapist explained the hot stones provide an energy and are alternated occasionally with cold ones to comfort, de-strees and melt muscle tension for full body invigoration. Jenny and I both fell asleep during our hot stone massages and full body exfoliation!
Eminence Spa Facial
All wrapped up like caterpillars in cocoons after our massages, our skilled beauty therapists went to work making our skin feel like it’s never felt before. Soft is too soft a description for just how soft it felt – we need a new word for that level of softness! Our Spa Facials were a complete sensory experience, as our therapists used Eminence Organic Skin Care, which is a delicious 100% organic product range full of herbs, fruits and flower buds.
For 60 minutes we were thoroughly indulged with exfoliation and hydration tailored to our specific skin needs. For me, dehydration, slight sensitivity and fine lines are top of the agenda, but mostly I just enjoyed being pampered. 
High Tea
After we had been pampered within an inch of our lives, we definitely needed some sustenance. It’s such thirsty work being in the lap of luxury!
Naughty and nice treats were laid out for us; the perfect way to punctuate our relaxation session – more relaxing, of course. Another benefit of the day spa hen’s party is the opportunity for treats.
