For their Yandina wedding, Samantha and Jesse invited an intimate group of just 30 guests and spent a modest budget of $15,000 on what they call the perfect day they dreamt of.
Bride, Samantha, said, “I wouldn’t want to change anything about my wedding. I married the man of my dreams witnessed by close friends and family.”
Samantha kindly shared some more details from her Yandina wedding at countryside venue, The Rocks…
Sweet Simplicity
“We wanted our wedding to be about us and our love. Our wedding was everything we loved and wanted and the people who came were so important to us. We didn’t want a big fancy wedding but something simple and lovely”
Venue Perfection
“The Sunshine Coast is where we live and our venue The Rocks was so beautiful and ticked all our boxes plus more for everything we wanted in our wedding venue. The Rocks staff were amazing, there was always somebody around doing something and the whole day ran so smoothly because there new what they were doing.”
The Proposal
“Jesse took me to a very romantic dinner at The Long Apron, Spicers Clovelly Estate. Opening the menu folder Jesse had arranged for a card saying “will you marry me” to be on the first page of the menu. He got up from his seat and came and got onto one knee. It was so romantic.”

“My flowers we were so beautiful, I have dried them and they are sitting on my dining table still.”

Wedding Secrets
Biggest splurge: My wedding car 1948 F1 Ford Pick Up. These are beautiful cars so to find one for my wedding was very special.
Best money-savers: Mum made the top tear of my wedding cake and my sisters are hairdressers so they did our hair for the day.
