Jamie-Lee and Wilhelm had grand plans of an Adventure Elopement atop Emu Mountain for their special day. However, the heavens opened! Thankfully, the team from Intimate Adventure Elopements always ensure their couples have a wet weather backup plan, which was swiftly put into motion.
After a chill morning together with cute gifts in pyjamas that made me wonder, “Why aren’t all wedding day mornings like Christmas with gifts in your PJs?“, they stayed put at their Airbnb for their elopement ceremony.
Since their Airbnb, The Nest and Aviary, backs onto a picturesque Golf Course, the couple were totally relaxed and happy with the change of plans. Nothing a couple of cute clear umbrellas can’t fix!
They may not have ended up with the adventurous mountaintop Sunshine Coast elopement they originally planned, but like all good adventures – you just have to roll with it. Scroll to see how their day turned out in the end.
