Brisbane couple, Stephanie and Jack, met in their home city at a Rufus Du Sol concert at the Tivoli. At the time, Jack lived in Noosa while Stephanie lived in Brisbane. It took almost two years for them to finally start their relationship after keeping in touch all that time.
Another two years went by and Jack proposed on Christmas Day in the company of Stephanie’s family.
When the day came, the couple held their ceremony in Noosa Woods, followed by their Noosa River wedding reception at Noosa Boathouse.
Stephanie shares her wedding day story with us below.

Why I married Jack
Jack has the type of personality and energy that just draws you in. Whenever you’re around him you know it’s going to be a good time. We both share a love of good music, discovering new bars and restaurants and travelling abroad (when we can). We are both very hard workers and make a great team.
Biggest Wedding Planning Challenges
Covid without a doubt. We were originally supposed to get married in June 2020 but decided to postpone for 12 months due to restrictions and border closures. Even postponing the 12 months we were still unable to have several international and interstate guests attend including one of my bridesmaids who was stuck in Dubai.

Ellie from Sunshine Weddings really played a huge part in our day. Her warm and caring nature paired with her professionalism and attention to detail just blew us away. We could not have been more delighted to have Ellie on our team.
Brooklyn from Wood & Willow Photography was absolutely incredible. Jack and I are not “photo” people and Brooklyn just managed us so perfectly with her gorgeous chilled nature. She made the entire process really relaxed and enjoyable.
Lauren Montgomery is an absolute makeup genius and not only was our make up absolutely stunning and flawless, Lauren’s personality and calming presence the morning of the wedding was exactly what we needed. It was the perfect start to the day.
