There’s only one place in all of Queensland where you can pitch a tipi and hold your wedding reception right on the beach. North Stradbroke Island is the favourite getaway spot for so very many, and if you’ve ever been there it isn’t hard to see why. It’s an unpretentious island haven snuck in between the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, easily accessible by ferry.
Morgan and Michael were married right on the pristine beach at Straddie, with the most incredible backdrop and sound of the ocean waves. Following their ceremony, their photographer, Carissa from Elk and Fir, took them to capture the loved up just married feels in the stunning locations she had already scoped out across the island.
Their guests didn’t have a long commute to their ceremony, as the tipi was set up right beside the ceremony. What an incredibly relaxing and picturesque spot to celebrate your marital union!
