The easiest way to take the stress out of planning for their wedding day was to remove any concern about weather. Let’s face it, Queensland wedding can be unpredictable. Although we have 260-odd sunny days each year, planning for the possibility of hitting one of the others is a must. Hinterland wedding venue, Weddings at Tiffany’s is, as Abbie put it, “weather proof”.
Choosing Tiffany’s for their hinterland chapel wedding was a no-brainer. The chapel and dining room complete with covered deck provide ultimate protection, yet in the happy event of a sunny day there is plenty of pretty outside space with just the kind of view one drives up the range for.
Fortunately for Abbie and Ryan, the day was full of clear skies. Read all about the day, as Abbie shares her memories and some awesome advice for future brides…
Emotional Wedding Day Moment
“Seeing Ryan at the end of the aisle! It felt like every emotion we had felt together over the past six years came back. The heavy heart I felt when Ryan and I would go months without seeing each other was there, but then was lifted as it felt like it was the end of our long distance struggles. It felt like any pain I had ever experienced was worth it to make it to this day. All the amazing memories we had shared came flooding back. I just felt so lucky to have found my soul mate.”
The Venue
“Tiffanys was the only venue Ryan and I looked at. We booked it the day that we first walked through it. Everything was five class. The views are absolutely breath taking, the service was phenomenal, almost everything was included in our package, the food was delicious. The compliments are endless. I never felt stressed. From the moment we booked to the day of, the hardest decision was picking which meals we wanted! Although the weather was perfect and sunny, it was great not having to worry about rain because everything is weather proof!”

Finding Suppliers
“Tiffanys gave us their recommendations on their preferred suppliers which was extremely helpful. Stalking the Sunshine Coast Brides Tribe on Facebook daily also gave me a lot of inspiration!”
Getting Ready at Home
“My bridesmaids and my mum. I chose to get ready at our home as it means so much to Ryan and I as we have spent a long time renovating it. Seeing it look so beautiful in our photos made us so proud.”
The Decision to Marry
“We always knew that we were going to be together forever. We are both good at different things which keeps us quite balanced. He makes me laugh until my tummy hurts every single day. I guess I never really knew a life without him.”
Local Wedding
“It was so easy because most of our guests live on the coast. But we just love the diversity of it. Between the incredible beaches and stunning hinterland. It really has the best of both worlds.”

Unforgettable Memory
“Dancing at the reception with all of our favourite people. I had not a care in the world. It was the perfect way to celebrate what had been our dream day and the start of our marriage.”
The Proposal
“We were walking along the Brooklyn Bridge towards Manhattan while on our winter holiday in the States. Ryan asked a fellow tourist to take a photo of us with the skyline behind us. He then started talking about how much he loved me and proceeded onto one knee. Oh so romantic!”
Advice for Future Brides
“Definitely invest in a videographer! Before the wedding everyone kept saying to soak up and enjoy every minute of the day. Realistically this is impossible! The whole day just felt like a blur and there was so much I didn’t remember because it all felt so overwhelming! Watching our video back felt like we got to relive our day again. I love that we will be able to show it to our future kiddies and celebrate every anniversary with champagne and watching our wedding movie (53 minutes)!”
The Next Adventure
“We want to continue to travel the world together. Live lightly and not take anything too seriously. We are so happy with where we are at now. As cliche as it is, I feel like all my dreams have come true! “
