Theirs has been a whirlwind romance, but they wouldn’t have it any other way. Brisbane couple, Kayla and Kayle not only have the world’s cutest matching names, they have one seriously cute baby daughter, who was kind enough to be their flowergirl for the occasion.
Wanting to keep everything simple, they opted to have all their guests join them to stay, play, and celebrate in one place. Novotel Twin Waters Resort was the perfect place for everyone to enjoy a little group holiday and ensure nobody had need to travel between their wedding ceremony, photos and reception. Oh, except for the couple, who took a little boatride to their overwater restaurant reception on the resort’s lagoon!
Feels Like Home, To Me
“From the moment we met, we were inseparable. I felt so calm and peaceful around him and I guess you could call it ‘home’. A feeling I have never felt before in my life.”
Group Holiday Location
“Kayle and I stayed one weekend at the Novotel Twin Waters Resort and we loved the venue and we thought it was an amazing spot to bring our friends and family all together in the same spot for the week. We also love the beaches up there.”
Special Message, Father to Daughter
“My father passed away 16 months before I was married; he never got to meet Kayle, but he wrote me a note towards the end of his illness of MND to be read out as a surprise. Not a dry eye in the house.”

The Proposal
“Kayle took me to Noosa for the day and took me to The Spit, his favourite part of the beach. We laid out in the sun and he started to say some beautiful things about us and our lives and our future, which caught me completely off guard, and then his hand was holding the ring and he asked me to marry him. I was completely shook and of course I said, ‘YES!’ When I could get the word out! We have gone from zero-100 in our relationship and wouldn’t have it any other way. When you know, you know. “

Kayla’s Advice for Future Brides
“Don’t stress the small stuff, remember why you are getting married in the first place and if something goes wrong, just roll with it, there is nothing you can do to change it so don’t dwell on it and let it ruin your day. AND remember to touch up your lipstick before and during photos!”
The Couple’s Plans for the Future
“Have another baby and grow as a family and our businesses. “
