High school sweethearts, Molly and Isaac, had one of the most unique and cool country weddings we’ve seen. Back in 2019, the pair were married in a countryside setting, yet they included tons of contemporary details in their wedding fashion and styling.
From head to toe, the bride was a vision of modern personal style with on-trend head-turning elements, like her metallic silver boots and long shimmering cape.
After getting ready at her parent’s local Sunshine Coast home, Molly took off in style in an FJ stretch Holden. Her er hubby-to-be, Isaac, was awaiting her under an arbour of greenery and white florals, which offset her bridesmaids’ deep green dresses.

My Wedding Day Posse
All my favourite girls. They were there to jump on my bed and wake me up, right through to offering their dresses to me when we noticed my dance outfit was missing right before our first dance!
Most Unforgettable Moment
The lightning strikes and cracks throughout our ceremony. It was so memorable that we both got lightning tattoos a couple days after. A beautiful storm rolled through right when our ceremony was scheduled. It had the darkest rumbling clouds I’ve ever seen which created such a moody, emotional and beautiful atmosphere.
The One Thing I’d Change
I would tell myself to stop checking the radar… you can’t control the weather and that storm will end up being one of your favourite parts of the day.
The Proposal
Isaac invited me to meet at our local beach lookout (Point Cartwright) where his Mum’s memorial is. He wanted to place flowers and watch the sunset together – nothing unusual for us. He then got down on one knee and popped the question while our family and a photographer watched from the bushes! We celebrated with lots of tears and champagne.
Why I Married Him
Isaac is the most loving, kind-hearted and dorky person I know! We have grown through so much together and I simply couldn’t imagine life without him.
Wedding Secrets
Biggest splurge: We were able to get the incredible David from Josué Films to film our wedding video. He was worth every cent and more! David crawled under fences, whizzed us around the property in his car and got amongst the dance floor to capture every moment.

Advice for Future Brides
Someone gave me this advice before our wedding and I would love to pass it on! Take a couple of minutes to stand back away from the party to just admire and enjoy this moment with your partner. Watch your family and friends dance, drink and celebrate your love.
Our Next Adventure
Saving for a house.. or maybe a potential baby Witten. We don’t know which will happen first!
