There is something about a black tie wedding that just hits different. And there’s nothing to say you can’t be married outdoors in a natural setting and also create a classic style for a formal Noosa wedding.
Phillipa and Peter were married in a gorgeous Noosa park wedding overlooking the Noosa River before boarding the ferry to their restaurant reception at Rickys River Bar & Restaurant. Their timeless black and white colour palette began with their fashion and extended to their florals, stationery, and tablescape.

Bridal Glam
Noosa bride, Phillipa, chose a glam squad that would seamlessly create the fresh, bridal look she wanted. Her gorgeous blonde locks were curled by Sass & Niki’s Wedding Hair in a style that would both look effortless to suit the Noosa vibe, and integrate with her formal fashion and chosen wedding style.
Her makeup was kept to a natural, almost minimalistic, design with just the right amount of definition to her eyes, a pretty flush to her cheeks for a youthful glow, gently highlighted in all the right places and a flattering pink pout to finish. Lauren Montgomery is a master at creating a flawless, long-lasting foundation for the bride who wants her skin to look like skin, yet last all day and night.
Formal Noosa Wedding Ceremony
Keeping it simple in terms of style, Phillipa and Peter kept their black and white theme consistent throughout with modern wedding signage and crisp white Hamptons-style chairs for their guests. They allowed the Noosa River to serve as their backdrop, and included some subtle natural textures and colours to tie in with the natural outdoor setting.
